So much class. So classy, in fact, that it's worth more than the car next to it. and the cruise liner. and the surrounding port and town. And anything within a 10 mile radius of it's location, except if it's another maybach.

Well, it came out during the Great Depression, not exactly a good time for luxury car sales. The Duesenberg Model J was a commercial failure too, doesn't mean people didn't want it, they either couldn't afford it or thought driving it would send the wrong message in bad economic times.
